Traumatic Brain Injury Services

Purposeful Work in a Positive Environment

We believe in a Brain Injury Clubhouse frame of reference by eliminating a hierarchy in our program by offering opportunities for VA leadership roles in program development, training, and decision making. We value the importance of seeing the impact of change from an individual’s voice.

Wages start at $12.50 per hour! Other benefits include free dental with 15+ hours per week and a monthly attendance bonus.

Flexible work schedules are available to meet the individual needs of each participant.

Weekly pay schedule and optional direct deposit simplify budgeting and provide timely enforcement for participants.

Job Coaching and social support is provided by trained, experienced professionals.

Offer a variety of ways for our VA’s to connect to our community through enclaves, volunteer work, advocacy, conferences, giving back opportunities, and presentations.

Every VA (Vocational Associate) has the opportunity to have a work email address for in-house communication. Hands on training is provided for email communication, attachments, announcements, and much more.

Onsite seminars on applicable topics like nutrition, health, emotional regulation and more are provided on a regular basis.

Evaluating Eligibility

Spinal Cord Injuries

A woman sitting on a bed, holding her lower back, appearing to experience pain from a life-altering traumatic brain injury experience.

In most instances etiology is related to impact trauma (i.e., MVA). Medical need impacts admission and level of care related to the level of a spinal cord injury. For example, individuals requiring a Tracheotomy or Mechanical Ventilation are outside of our scope of care. Care needs for Persons Served with spinal cord dysfunction is reviewed prior to admission to determine level of care and required resources to provide that care.
