Additional Admission Criteria & Guidelines

  • Eligibility

    Adults 18 years or older

    Diagnosed with:

    •   Acquired brain injury

    •   Spinal cord injury and/or other orthopedic injuries

    Note: Individuals requiring tracheotomy, mechanical ventilation, continuous nursing care, isolation or restraint are not eligible.

     

    Admission Requirements

    • Demonstrated potential to benefit from MARC services

    • Completed pre-admission documentation

    • Full completion of all intake forms

    • Stable medical condition suitable for vocational environments

    • No unmanaged behaviors that pose a safety risk

    • Verified funding source

    Care & Support Capabilities

    • Behavioral needs must be manageable within the program

    • Personal care, supervision, and protection must align with available staffing

    • Therapy environment must meet all physical and service needs (including barrier-free access)

    • Physician's prescription specifying required services

    Compatibility & Assessment

    Admission is subject to compatibility with current participants

    Outcome measurement assessment completed:

    •   At admission

    •   Annually thereafter

    Participants’ rights are fully protected, including:

    •   Freedom from discrimination (race, religion, sex, age, etc.)

    •   Full constitutional rights (voting, religion, movement, association)

    Consent is required to contact physicians and use health information for care coordination

    Program Compliance

    • CARF accredited

    • Adheres to all applicable rules and regulations
