Additional Admission Criteria & Guidelines
Eligibility
Adults 18 years or older
Diagnosed with:
Acquired brain injury
Spinal cord injury and/or other orthopedic injuries
Note: Individuals requiring tracheotomy, mechanical ventilation, continuous nursing care, isolation or restraint are not eligible.
Admission Requirements
Demonstrated potential to benefit from MARC services
Completed pre-admission documentation
Full completion of all intake forms
Stable medical condition suitable for vocational environments
No unmanaged behaviors that pose a safety risk
Verified funding source
Care & Support Capabilities
Behavioral needs must be manageable within the program
Personal care, supervision, and protection must align with available staffing
Therapy environment must meet all physical and service needs (including barrier-free access)
Physician's prescription specifying required services
Compatibility & Assessment
Admission is subject to compatibility with current participants
Outcome measurement assessment completed:
At admission
Annually thereafter
Rights & Privacy
Participants’ rights are fully protected, including:
Freedom from discrimination (race, religion, sex, age, etc.)
Full constitutional rights (voting, religion, movement, association)
Consent is required to contact physicians and use health information for care coordination
Program Compliance
CARF accredited
Adheres to all applicable rules and regulations
